Nice! Glad you posted this one. Has an authentic feel to it, despite the walkway. And, considering it is a real working roundhouse... it is in fact, authentic!

Dennis - In late February & Early March of this year Six Live Steam Engines in the roundhouse at the Buckingham Central Railroad. There were also more than two dozen live steam engines running the system during this period. Steamtown ain't got nothing on the Buckingham Central. For more info, check out the following url: http://forums.railfan.net/forums.cgi?board=LiveSteam;action=display;num=1265931042;start=0 Page 7 in particular has some great photos including N&W 611 & Union Pacific 844. It was an overwelming event for the steam enthusiast.

I believe that the former Southern Pacific roundhouse at Brooklyn Yard in Portland has at least two "live" steam locomotives in it - SP 4449 and SP&S 700. Also, the former Canadian Pacific roundhouse at John Street in Toronto has at least one "live" diesel in it.

Dennis, the roundhouse at Greenfield Village in Dearborn, MI has an 0-6-4T and a 4-4-0, both of which are operable. Also, by July 4th of 2010, the old Sierra Roundhouse at Jamestown, CA will have a 3-Truck Shay and a 4-6-0 steaming.

Jerry Jacobson finally put up some of the walls for his roundhouse; it'll be an 18-stall roundhouse with a 115 foot turntable. He should have 10 steam and 24 diesels for it, as well.
