The same power as seen in this> photo pulls a cut of cars past Hager tower. According to railpictures.net member Rick Morrison, "It was at the point where N&W and PRR tracks joined. The Western Maryland "south yard" was also accessed there. Hager was also at the north end of the "Y" at the engine house, approximately where the photo was taken. Hager Tower was one of the last surviving Cumberland Valley RR structures, demolished about 15 years ago." |
