| A Santa Fe freight passes under Interstate 10 and bisects the Southern Pacific's Sunset Route at Colton Crossing as it heads toward Los Angeles' Hobart Yard on March 29, 1980. Leased Chessie System units are still in use on the power-hungry Santa Fe on this date. |
