| Just over a month old, brand new ES44AH no. 3234 has just arrived at Kingsport from Pennington Gap with loaded coal train T137-23 (Benedict - Yulee). They’ll get a fresh CRR crew before continuing the rest of their trip down the Kingsport Subdivision to Erwin. Beside them in Carter Yard sits the empty U090 set that’s being used between the Harlan Coalfields and Eastman Chemical, and the CSXT 900020 bay window caboose used in the unloading process. Both train sets were made up of fairly new cars! |
