Remarks & Notes
Believe It Or Not, This Is Manhattan. On the snowy afternoon of March 21, 2018, AMTK 705 (P32AC-DM) led Train 49 (Lake Shore Limited) from New York Penn Station to Albany-Rensselaer, New York, where it was removed and P42s wereadded for the rest of the trip to Chicago, Illinois. The Phase V paint and lack of nose hatch on the P32 is an indicator of the time period, as both have since been applied to all 18 Amtrak P32s. While the scene appears remote and rural, the train is a short distance from passing under the George Washington Bridge.
