After unfortunately striking and killing a trespasser in the Poughkeepsie area, the daily Selkirk to Oak Point freight ended up tying down in Beacon for the night. The following morning they’d receive a crew at 0900 hours and would make their way down the Hudson Line and along the Oak Point Link in Daylight. Here they are crawling along the Harlem River as they take the link into Oak Point Yard. In the background, you can see the Historic Macombs Dam Bridge and the Highbridge Watertower all the way in the upper right.
