| Due to Interchange with Norfolk Southern, KCSs I-ATDA used to be the carrier train of special power of NS to Texas. NS 4000 is a AC44C6M' rebuilt from Dash 9-40C locomotives. 4000 and 4001 are the only locomotives in the Blue Sonic Bonnet paint scheme. |
