Heading back to the Pacific Harbor Line's locomotive facility is PHL MP30C-3 68. This locomotive was built by General Motors Electro-Motive Division as Southern Pacific SD40 8476 in May 1966. It was upgraded with Dash 2 electrical equipment in the SP's Sacramento Shops in June 1981, becoming SP SD40R 7373. Shortly after the SP was acquired by the Union Pacific, SP 7373 was retired on the last day of 1997 and sold in December 1999 to MotivePower Industries which, in December 2007, rebuilt into Pacific Harbor Line MP30C-3 68.
