During the early morning hours of October 30th, 2025, Metro-North Railroad's self-propelled Engineering Inspection Vehicle, "IC 2020", performs track geometry and wire inspections on the wall over South Norwalk, Connecticut as it comes off the Danbury Branch and onto the New Haven Line at CP 241.

IC 2020 was commissioned by Metro-North in 2016 and completed by Plasser American Corporation and ENSCO Incorporated in 2020. It features the latest laser, optical and inertial sensor systems to analyze the condition of the rail and track infrastructure, alerting onboard Metro-North engineering specialists to any track anomalies.
