| Crews from Cranmasters are working the east end (downhill) side of the 12G derailment. Here two sidewinders work to drag a loaded railcar along the rolled rail until they can reach the point of good track. There it will be handed off to another group that will lift the car back up onto the rails and roll it down against the train. After a group of 20-30 cars is collected helper engines will take the cars back to Altoona for inspection before being forwarded onto their original destination. |
