| Lumbering to Lakewood -
The Tuesday morning train from Jamesburg is heading east on the Freehold Secondary, bringing six lumber cars to Lakewood. The train has just crossed Okerson Rd. and is about to travel under the Rt. 33 overpass. The automobile in the distance is at the Halls Mill Rd. grade crossing and the railway siding before that is for Prestone. Just before the siding, near the Freehold/Howell border, is where the line once terminated. The locomotive is now on the recently rebuilt section of track (connecting Freehold to Farmingdale) and is picking up speed as this segment can accommodate a faster track speed.
