| Remarks & Notes |
| CNW 1280, SW600 and SW1 1278, SW1 are parked near the CNW station and freight house at Eau Claire Yard just east of the Putnam St. crossing. This was their regular home in between switching assignments and occasional road locals. They were serviced a couple miles east at Altoona Yard & roundhouse. At this time Altoona also serviced a variety of road locomotives ranging from GP7s to SD45s. CNW 1280 is now in possession of Wisconsin Great Northern at Trego, WI. It's 600 HP prime mover has been removed to provide power for their Mark Twain Zephyr project. |
