| CNW 889 slows to leave the eastbound main at the Altoona depot and will park its train in a siding to the right of the switch engine which is waiting on the eastbound main to complete switching another freight. Altoona was a busy place in the 1970s with 10 scheduled freights and a few locals and switch transfers to/from Eau Claire. |
