BLS owns 18 Re 465 locomotives, which were delivered by SLM and ABB between 1994 and 1997. Until now, most of them have been used by BLS Cargo for freight transport. In future, some of the fleet will be used for car transport through the Lötschberg summit tunnel, while others will be used for the GoldenPassExpress (GPX) between Interlaken Ost and Zweisimmen. A few locomotives will be surplus to requirements and are available for sale. StadlerRail is interested in one or two locomotives for transfer trains. Today, the Re 465 # 011 was transferred as train 38134 from Spiez via Thun-Zollikofen-NBS (new line)-Olten-Lenzburg-Zurich Altstetten-Kloten-Winterthur-Weinfelden to Bussnang, and can be seen between Winterthur and Oberwinterthur.
