| Cranberry Sauce for Thanksgiving
MBTX 1129 is in charge of a work extra at CP-44 on the Worcester Main Line. 1129 was rebuilt to a GP40MC-3 by Drummac back in 2024 and became the MBTA's first of many heritage units. The T refers to it as the "Cranberry" livery, which is derived from B&M-era cutbacks, where units such as FP10s (and one F40) were painted into B&M red paint instead of the MBTA's characteristic purple in order for the ailing Boston and Maine Railroad to save money. |
