Mine shifter U86 holds 110 coal loads in place as they ease past Tams, WV. Traffic on this branch is sporadic and few and far between. I’ve heard some people say it only sees a train or two a month, sadly. This branch connects Elmore Yard with Sophia, WV where Affinity mine is located. Back during the Virginian era, I’m sure this branch saw multiple daily trains.
