| “Rail Grinding the Pleasantville–Absecon Marshes”
On December 1, 2025, Delta Railroad Services’ SRT Vulcano LGT 32M rail grinder skirts the Pleasantville–Absecon city line in New Jersey as it nears the southern end of NJ Transit’s Atlantic City Line. Built in Italy by SRT (Smart Railway Technology), the Vulcano LGT 32M is a modern, self-propelled rail grinder designed for precision rail profiling and extended rail service life. The machine was in New Jersey to perform grinding work on the PATCO Speedline and NJ Transit’s Atlantic City Line.
