Mass Coastal job MC-1 passes a mix of rarely-seen equipment in the Middleboro layover facility. To the left is the New England Railroad club's Dinner Train Charter, which will be running up to Boston tonight with two ex-New Haven FL9s and brand-new MBTA B&M heritage unit #1030. In the middle is GP40MC #1134, which is bound for the MBTA's contractor shops in Wareham, where it'll be rebuilt to the GP40MC-3 class. Peeking out behind it is 1129, a unit recently overhauled in Wareham, returning for work after some apparent engine issues over the summer.
