On St. Nicholas Day, the Pendelzug Mirage Association (VPM) organized a special train from Willisau to the Christmas market in Einsiedeln, consisting of the BDe 4/4 II # 201 “Burgdorf,” the first-class car A # 515, the two second-class cars B # 218 and # 227, and the cab car ABt # 202. Train 31218 ran from Willisau via Huttwil-Langenthal-Zofingen-Lucerne-Küssnacht am Rigi-Arth Goldau-Biberbrugg to Einsiedeln. Here, the train of TR TransRail is traveling through the Rothenthurm high moor between Altmatt and Biberbrugg. The BDe 4/4 II # 201 (BDe 576 # 201) railcar was built in 1966 by SIG and BBC for the former Südostbahn as BDe 4/4 # 82 and came to the VPM association in Zell LU in 2007. Today, it is operated as a railcar by the former EBT (Emmental-Burgdorf-Thun Railway).
