Sunset Holiday Lights Train On The Viaduct. On Monday, December 1, 2025, MTA Metro-North Railroad Train 843 was led by MNCW 203 (M-Central Heritage) with seven blue-striped end-door only Shoreliners and Comet IIs decorated with holiday lights and logos. The train is seen departing Grand Central Terminal at sunset. Both this train and an 8-car set of M8 electric MUs will operate in revenue service on the Hudson, Harlem, and New Haven Lines for the next month. The recent completion of Park Avenue Viaduct work in this area, and the removal of the construction curtain between Tracks 1 & 2 allows for this open view with the skyline in the background.
