| Trona 2006, an ex-Southern Pacific Tunnel Motor, leads a consist of classic EMDs and a healthy cut of cars through the steep grades to the Searles Interchange. A 10mph speed restriction on most of the mainline means a sunset arrival into Searles, the return trip will be made in complete darkness, even during the middle of Summer. |
