In a rare tow move, the first hydrogen-powered train in the US (a Stadler FLIRT H2) is tacked onto the back of a Metrolink trainset to be moved from San Bernardino to Los Angeles. The ZEMU (Zero Emissions Multiple Unit), which typically runs on the 9-mile Metrolink Arrow route between San Bernardino to Redlands, is being taken to Metrolink's Central Maintenance Facility for some maintenance work before being returned to its home in San Bernardino.
