Sweet Shot. The 2016 edition of the Amtrak Autumn Express rolled on the weekend of October 29-30, 2016. Its passengers were treated to a ride across former Pennsylvania, Reading, and Lehigh Valley Railroads/current Norfolk Southern trackage that had not seen passenger service in many years, before wyeing on the bridge over the Susquehanna River near Rockville, Pennsylvania, and returning to New York Pennsylvania Station via the Amtrak Keystone and Northeast Corridor Lines. The unusual power combo includes P42DC 145 (40th Ann/Phase III) and P42DC 42 (Veterans), and ACS-64 642 (Veterans). The twin factory smokestacks in the background denote the location as Hershey, Pennsylvania, seen as the Amtrak Autumn Express passes under the amusement park's monorail on October 30, 2016.
