As clouds roll in on the morning of November 14th, 2025, the MBTA/Keolis “Seaview Extra,” led by EMD GP40MC-3 MBTX 1129 in B&M “Cranberry” paint, cuts through the station parking lot at Walpole, Massachusetts, as it leaves the Franklin Branch and enters the Framingham Secondary on the way to Foxboro. This special move marked the inaugural run of MBTA’s new Office Car Special consist, which features four overhauled MBB CTC/BTC-3 coaches, including “The Mayflower,” an observation car with a full glass end.
