| “Danbury Double Draft @ Noroton”
On the afternoon of August 17th, 2025, Metro-North Railroad GE P32AC-DM #225 leads an eastbound equipment “double draft” consisting of two “maxi bomb” trainsets through the Noroton Heights neighborhood of Darien, Connecticut, on the New Haven Line. This was the second of two double-draft equipment moves sent to Danbury following the completion of a 17-day outage for track work and the improvement of several grade crossings along the Danbury Branch.
