With some excellent help, we did a great afternoon chase with the Salina to Limon local freight train. As anytime with the Kyle, these jobs do things as hard as possible. With 2 hour of work at Burlington, and 90" work here at Stratton, and a 9 hour base schedule for the crew, the train went 30 miles. Here the crew had to dig out tanks bury behind 50 mtys that would be on 2 tracks. Cool old ex-Rock Island ABS signal litter the mainline on the westend.
