| The old Rock Island west of Bethune gets to be the wild west alittle bit with rolling hills and grades. Unfortunately when we were out here in 2023, we never got a train between Bethune and Flagler in what I consider the "cool stuff". Lucky for us we got this train at least as far as Siebert, and it didn't disappoint. With only 2 units running, the 24 cars have this Salina to Limon freight in a working out. Train climbs out of the valley near Vona. |
