The Railroading Heritage of Midwest America organization operated two days of excursions with restored DDA40X "Centennial" locomotive #6936, with Iowa Interstate providing ES44AC #513 for backup. The trainset operated one round trip per day - west towards South Amana, IA on 9/20 and east to Bureau Junction, IL on 9/21, both trips originating in Silvis, IL. Here, the South Amana trip passes the former Rock Island depot in Iowa City as it makes its way toward South Amana for the wye move to head back to Silvis.
