The Railroading Heritage of Midwest America organization operated two days of excursions with restored DDA40X "Centennial" locomotive #6936, with Iowa Interstate providing ES44AC #513 for backup. The trainset operated one round trip per day - west towards South Amana, IA on 9/20 and east to Bureau Junction, IL on 9/21, both trips originating in Silvis, IL. Here, the South Amana trip arrives in Wilton, where the train will pause next to the former Rock Island depot and passengers will disembark for a picnic lunch before re-boarding for the train to continue to South Amana, where it wye for the eastbound run back to Silvis.
