| Bombardier TRAXX F140 MS Re 484 # 021 "Gottardo" of the SBB pulls the freight train 69232 from Winterthur freight yard via Kloten-Regensdorf to the Limmattal shunting yard (RBL), between Winterthur and Winterthur Tössmühle. The load is the Plasser and Theurer tamping machine Unimat 09-32/4S of the Krebs Gleisbau company. The Unimat 09-32/4S is designed as a three-part vehicle. The main section of the machine is carried by two 2-axled bogies. The main frame is arched and encompasses the moving sub frame (‘satellite’) which carries all working units of the tamping machine. The satellite is supported on the track at the rear on a 2-axled bogie and is connected to the machine’s main frame at the front via a longitudinal roller guide. The 2-axled, bogie-mounted trailer, which carries the fuel tank with a capacity of 4,500 litres and a cabin for driving during transfer, is positioned directly behind the main section. |
