Sunset Under St. Mary's. On Monday, October 27, 2025, the sun was out, the temperatures were moderate, and the color was bright on the trees. The CSX River Sub runs through the Hudson Valley Region of New York, one of the most picturesque rail lines in the Northeast United States. As the shadows were closing in on the tracks, CSX M419 showed up just in the nick of time with CSXT 842 (ES44AC-H) leading. Above the train are vintage buildings of the former St. Mary's Convent across the Hudson River in Peekskill, New York.
