| Leading the Charge!
Metro-North Railroad SC42-DM no. 301 is seen charging out of the Park Avenue Tunnel portal with Hudson Line train 847 to Poughkeepsie. The locomotive is the first of the Siemens Chargers to enter service on the railroad, with a total of 27 - plus 6 owned by the Connecticut Department of Transportation - planned to be delivered by 2027 and ultimately set to replace the aging P32AC-DM fleet. |
