| Norfolk Southern 8089 brings up the rear of a three pack of helper locomotives shoving on the rear of loaded coal train 746 as it makes its way east across the Pocahontas District towards Bluefield where they will be cut off. As the train rolls through Welch, West Virginia it crosses the bridge over the Tug Fork River and McDowell Street before plunging into a tunnel that takes them to the Elkhorn Creek valley. |
