The Laurel Line turn shoves between a giant boulder on the switch back to the plastic pellet plant with a train and a pair of beautifully restored and painted Erie-Lackawanna heritage ALCOs. Light rain and very chilly with fantastic fall foliage sights and smells at an area known in railroad history as "Little Virginia".
The reason railpictures.net has captured my imagination for so many years. Images of quality and distinction, in other words, amazing railroad photography.
