Remarks & Notes
Park Avenue Pair. Twenty years of third rail multiple-unit evolution is on display on the Park Avenue Viaduct as Metro-North Railroad (MNR) M3A car 8024 passes M7A car 4042 on their way out of and into Grand Central Terminal. The M3A fleet was built from 1983-1985 by the Budd Company, while the M7A fleet was built by Bombardier from 2004-2006. The duo were operating as Hudson Line train 747 and Harlem Line train 664, respectively.
