Allentown & Auburn Railroad caboose 92885 was originally Reading Company 92885. These cabooses were built by the Reading’s Ironton Shops from March 1936 through March 1941. In 1976, with the creation of Conrail, this car became a CR caboose, class N4. However, as CR renumbered these in a random order, I have not found a record of which number CR assigned it (but I did find a photograph of it in CR blue, so it was repainted, but in that photo it was already stenciled for the ALLN and the CR number was already obliterated.)
