Amtrak Pacific Surfliner 784 (Goleta to San Diego) diverges from BNSF's San Bernardino Sub to Southern California Regional Rail Authority's (more commonly known as Metrolink) Orange Sub upon departing its stop in Fullerton. Bringing up the rear is former Amtrak F40PH 215, now converted to a Non-Powered Cab Unit and owned by the California Department of Transportation (aka Amtrak California), numbered CDTX 90215 and named "Bakersfield".
