| Car transport trains run regularly (about three times per hour) through the 14.6-kilometer-long Lötschberg tunnel between Kandersteg and Goppenstein, which opened in 1913. Train 27124 from Goppenstein is just arriving in Kandersteg, with Re 465 # 011 at the rear and Re 465 # 007 at the front (not visible). With both locomotives, the train is 414 meters long in total. |
