Pennsylvania Railroad N5B caboose 477768 (the Pennsy called these "cabin cars") was built by the PRR's Altoona Shops in July 1941. One can assume that it later joined the Penn Central's roster, and possibly also Conrail's. For six years, members of the Rivanna Chapter of the National Railway Historical Society (NRHS) worked hard to restore it at a location in Virginia, far from the car's home. Upon completion, it was donated to the non-profit Colebrookdale Railroad Preservation Trust in Boyertown PA. There it was put on display near the Secret Valley Line tourist trains that operate into and out of this town. (Boyertown, Pennsylvania – September 26, 2025)
