An autumn afternoon deep in the solitude of the Potomac river valley at Hansrote is briefly disturbed (or embellished) with the approach of CSX 297 with westbound empty hoppers. The quaintness of the codelines and the B&O era CPLs lent appealing character to this portion of railroad.
