| In September 2025, Bahnreisen Sutter's nostalgic Glacier Express traveled the entire route of the Glacier Express. It also traveled over the old Furka mountain route with a diesel locomotive, whereas the Glacier Express has been traveling through the new Furka Base Tunnel since 1982. On the Matterhorn Gotthard Railway network, the center-entry carriages of the Furka Mountain Railway (DFB) were hauled by the historic HGe 4/4 I # 36 of the former Furka Oberalp Railway (FO). |
