| Unsure of what they're doing here ... they are on the main line (the bypass out of Cheyenne that splits left to Denver and right over the Harriman Cutoff), and a brakeman rides on the pilot with a radio. The train appears to be on the almost-exclusively-westbound Harriman Line, but it is rolling east (toward Cheyenne). 
 I did observe that the old, massive water tank that was at Speer until recently was now gone. I know that water tower had a lot of "hobo graffiti" and wish they had preserved it somehow, but I don't think they did.
