EXO train 1209 to Mascouche crosses the Lachine Canal. In the evening's weekdays, a total of three Mascouche line trains leaves Central Station and passes by the CN Taschereau yard. This will end soon with the achievement of the REM (light-rail) Côte-de-Liesse station, with a new departure station for EXO trains there as well. It's also almost the end (well, from what EXO said) of these 35-years-old ex-GO Transit F59PH, which will be replaced by brand new Siemens-built EC-42 1400 series. Unit 1400 began tests runs on all lines a few weeks ago, and will soon be ready to enter in service.
