Remarks & Notes
It is Sunday evening at 5:45 p.m. and the Gotthard Railway Days 2025 have come to an end. On the right are the two snowblowers, the steam snowblower Xrot # 100 from 1896, built for the Gotthard Railway, and on the far right the diesel snowblower Xrotm # 96 from 1982. The buildings of the Erstfeld depot, including the transfer table and steam shed from 1883, were extensively renovated by SBB Real Estate in 2023. The gates at the large shed from 1921 were rebuilt in wood, true to the original. The last special train from Göschenen to Erstfeld has not yet returned from the route. Due to a defect in the Ce 6/8 II # 14253, the train had to be towed by the Ae 8/14 # 11801. In the background is 3073 meter high Bristen mountain.
