| On this day, the second completely renovated HG 4/4 cogwheel steam locomotive of the Furka Mountain Railway was officially inaugurated, later blessed in Gletsch, and formally handed over by the Furka Mountain Railway Foundation to DFB AG for operation. The festively decorated HG 4/4 # 708 is being turned on the manualy operated turntable at Furka DFB on 2160 meter a.s.l., to run down from Muttbach-Belvédère to Gletsch backwards. |
