| On this day, the second completely renovated HG 4/4 cogwheel steam locomotive of the Furka Mountain Railway was officially inaugurated, later blessed in Gletsch, and formally handed over by the Furka Mountain Railway Foundation to DFB AG for operation. The festively decorated HG 4/4 # 708 locomotive stands in front of the carriage shed in Realp, ready to pull the carriages for the special train out of the shed.
