Remarks & Notes
Alabama...the other Alberta. CPKC deployed its Calgary-based business train to the Deep South, in part, to tour the new joint SMX Advantage subdivision with CSXT and their acquisition of the former Meridian & Bigbee trackage (which still operates locally to Meridian MS). This is the deadhead to Montgomery, where a VIP trip will originate. Had the ROW been a little further east and south of here, there literally is an "Alberta, Alabama" south of where the CSXT side of the main runs.

CP specials, including steam, executive trains and the famed Holiday Train, frequently can be seen south of the border.
