| The snow fighting composition of Erstfeld is ready to clear the Gotthard line from snow. Steamlocomotive C 5/6 # 2978 and "Crocodile" Ce 6/8 II # 14253 are shoving the steam rotary snow blower Xrot # 100 under pressure towards the mountain in Erstfeld. This was the day when the snow blower, built in 1896 for the Gotthard Railway, returned to Erstfeld after long years in the Swiss Museum of Transport in Lucerne (from 1981), in the shed of Arth Goldau and in the Bahnpark Brugg. |
