Remarks & Notes |
Wisconsin Dells is pretty well known for its "ducks." For over 70 years, amphibious DUCKS have been the most unique means of touring Wisconsin Dells’ famous rock formations. These vehicles were used during WWII to haul troops. In 1946, a gentleman named Melvin Flath first brought the Ducks to Wisconsin Dells. One is on display near the Wisconsin River, where these vehicles come and go. For us it was a great backdrop to frame up the Empire Builder making its way to Chicago on the CPKC Tomah Sub. |
