“Diesel Ogdoad Over the Conn River”

On July 9th, 2025, Amtrak Extra 864, consisting of eight Amtrak diesel locomotives (P42DC #122, P42DC #101, MP15DC #539, P42DC #107, GP38-3 #730, MP15DC #537, P42DC #109 and P42DC #113), crosses the Connecticut River on the Warehouse Point (Connecticut River) Railroad Bridge in Windsor Locks, Connecticut on the MRS (Hartford) Line. The equipment move was on its way to the railroad's Rensselaer shops in New York for various levels of repairs.
